10-Foot Monument of George Washington statue at Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown PA.

Sculptor Jennifer Frudakis-Petry crafted the statue of General Washington to be unveiled on May 20 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

The unveiling of the George Washington Memorial Statue will take place Saturday May 20, 2023 at 11:00am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

Wayne Art Center is pleased to present Realistic Impressions in Clay – Jennifer Frudakis-Petry, Sculptor & Students, an exhibition of work by Jennifer Frudakis-Petry as well as recent work created by her Wayne Art Center students.  For decades, students have studied with Jennifer at the art center to learn about form and design and to develop sculpting techniques.  Jennifer’s popular classes including Sculpture for the Home & Garden and Advance Portrait Sculpture offer opportunities for adult students working at all levels to engage in this exciting tactile medium.

The Anthony Bourdain Bas-Relief was unveiled October 18, 2019, at the Culinary Institute of America it is a bronze bas-relief 14 inches x 18 inches.

My goal as an artist is to create quality sculpture with a meaningful purpose that can hopefully uplift and inspire the viewer…

Jennifer Frudakis-Petry has been an active participant in the world of sculpture since the 1970s. When she was 12 years old, after several years of instruction with her father, world-renowned sculptor, EvAngelos Frudakis, she started taking adult sculpture classes in her hometown of Ventnor N.J.

After graduating from art school in 1984, Jennifer has been sculpting professionally and teaching sculpture in local art centers.

She has been commissioned to create monuments in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area as well as smaller works for museums, hospitals, and private collections
